Our story

Let's meet by the sea.

Established in 2026, Maroma brings the spirit of Mexico's coastline to Dallas with a vibrant, laid-back dining experience.

Focused on fresh seafood, bright flavors and fire-grilled specialties, our menu captures the essence of coastal Mexican cuisine: colorful and full of ocean-inspired character.

Maroma is chef Omar Flores' coastal Mexican concept from Big Dill Hospitality, on the ground floor of the Thirteen Thirty Three building at 1333 Oak Lawn Avenue in the Design District.

The barra fría sends out oysters, aguachiles, ceviches and tostadas. A la brasa, steaks and seafood are grilled over mesquite hardwood. The sea gives; the fire finishes.

The ocean unites and renews: a living rhythm that connects cultures, traditions and flavors.

Why Maroma

Coastal cooking, done with fire.

  1. A true raw bar

Chilled Mercado oysters, spot prawn and yellowtail aguachiles, red snapper ceviche, Lobster Maroma and a marisco tower built for the table.

  2. Mesquite, always

Our a la brasa steaks, prawns and whole fish are grilled over mesquite hardwood and served with chile toreado and cebollitas.

  3. Happy hour every day

2 to 6 PM daily at the bar: Maroma Palomas, martinis, Muchacho Margaritas, raw oysters, calamari frito and more.
